26 Sep THE WORLD IS A DIGNANI’S | MYKONOS, GREECE
With Mykonos it was love at first sight!
It was my third time on the island, but this time I’ve visited it with a group of six friends. Each visit has brought up a different feeling; a fun and relaxed place, that has something to offer for everyone.
Narrow streets that invite to get lost in them, huge wind mills, paradisiac beaches and the best ‘after beach’ ever. All of this and much more can be found at Mykonos.
Here are my tips:
The Center >> Touring the town and its architecture is one the island’s main attractions. Churches, mills and even a small Venice, are some of the most interesting things you can find in Chora, its capital. Everything is covered in white and blue which creates an addiction to take photos non-stop, literally one picture after another.
Beaches >> My favorite spot is Psarou! The sea is super calm and transparent, I recommend buying some goggles to swim there, it is absolutely amazing the amount of fish you can find. Right there, you also need to make a mandatory visit to Nammos, a hip and trendy hostel, ideal for an afternoon drink while waiting for the sunset.
Party >> If you like the ‘after beach’, Paraga Beach is a must!, after 5pm you can stop by at Scorpios and from there enjoy the most beautiful sunset of Mykonos.
If you are looking for something more “intense”, the hostel that everyone is talk of the island is Paradise Beach. Reggaeton, Hip Hop, and Electronic music bring together groups of friends from all over the world until midnight. If you still have energy … the crowd then moves to Cavo Paradiso, the best club on the island, where every night DJs play their best tunes.
A tip for girls!: the wind is very strong, therefore it is very difficult to keep your hair tidy all the time, so if you want to look presentable in the photos, I recommend mega braids and handkerchiefs to avoid leaving totally uncombed
